Brewing Instructions
Brewing Instructions
Batch Brew: This coffee comes whole bean, so you’ll want to grind it fresh to get the most out of its flavor. (Drip keeps things simple and consistent, but if you prefer a slower, more hands-on method, it also makes a great pourover.)
Step by Step
- Weigh & measure – Use about 60 g of coffee per 1L of water (~1:16 ratio).
- Grind fresh – Go for a medium grind, close to coarse sand. Grinding just before brewing helps keep the flavors lively.
- Prep your brewer – Start with clean equipment. Optional: Lightly dampen the paper filter with hot water (this removes any papery taste & preheats the basket).
- Add coffee & water – Place the grounds in the filter and brew with filtered water heated between 195–205°F (90–96°C). Filtered or RO water makes a real difference.
- Brew & enjoy – Let the machine do the work. Once finished, give the pot a gentle swirl before pouring to balance the flavors.
